About

I am originally from Essex and am proud of my heritage. In the early 1980s, I moved to the North West of England and instantly fell in love with the beautiful countryside with rugged hills and forests and the accessibility to the rest of the country.

I am a mother of two grown-up children, a daughter who currently lives in the UK but has lived in New Zealand in the past and a son who lives in Australia. I have had some great opportunities to explore New Zealand and Australia.

In my working life, I have spent more than 40 years as a Registered Nurse working in different roles, including as a covid vaccinator during the recent covid vaccination programme. I have also spent time doing voluntary work in Africa and fundraising that involved long-distance walks and skydiving!

At present, I continue to work as a nurse alongside producing all the DaiseyDoodles artwork.

In my spare time, I enjoy travelling, writing journals and poems of my adventures, learning new skills, doing voluntary work, singing, walking, looking after grandchildren and sitting at my easel with a gin and tonic and doodling!

I am looking forward to selling my artwork at the upcoming markets and fayres and look forward to meeting you in person.
